My Fave Five Cards 2010

Hi there! I just can't believe it's New Years Eve already. Where did 2010 go? Another year older and wiser? (not sure about the wiser bit). I'm making the same old resolutions as last year, you know the ones, eating and drinking less and getting fit. I will try, honest! lol. My other resolution is going to be ENJOY, especially the time, I spend  with my family and friends.

The lovely Debby over at A Scrapjourney has aked everyone to share their five favourite cards from 2010 and she also has some yummy candy. Thanks Debby.

Here are mine:

Hope you all have a lovely New Years Eve and I would like to wish you all a really  Happy & Healthy New Year.

I was inspired by the very talented Debby with her beautiful Easter card. So I got out my daisy punch to make this quickie card.

It's his third birthday tomorrow and we are taking the party to his Mama's (my mum) house, as she's not been too well and Bradley adores her.

Hi everyone, hope you're all enjoying your weekends.

First of all, I've had some lovely news, I've made top three at crafts4eternity, Thank you so much Michele and team, I'm really chuffed.

Finally the snow is thawing and today is a much brighter day. I've been a bit busy over the last couple of days, we have had our daughter Samantha & grandson Bradley and Tilly the cat, staying with us. They were stranded at their house mid-week and Bradley was poorly, so after we dug our car out we got as near to their house as we could and brought them home with us. Had Bradley to the doctors, got him some antibiotics and he's now loads better.

More Snow

No, not the real stuff, the B&M glitter stuff in a bag.
Put loads of it in this little exploding box and also everywhere else, the craftroom and  landing are covered in it. It's very static and clings to absolutely everything including Ely (one of my cats) who has taken to sleeping on my craft table. Think it because its over the radiator, so it's lovely and warm. Just right for a snoozy.

Hope you are all snuggly warm  and enjoying your evening.

Snow Day

Hi all, had the day off work today, as school was shut, bet loads of you have been off too. I had a walk to my Mums,(don't walk at best of times, you get lazy when you drive everywhere, but not good in 20 inches of snow.) to check she was ok and get her a bit of shopping. My hubby managed to get home after being stranded at work overnight but the car got stuck on the road, so we had to dig it out. Our neighbours car got stuck further down so we helped dig theirs out too. After tea I had a hot soak and made this quick card. My hubby bought me a lovely bag of stash last week from TK Maxx, so used some on this one.

Hope you are all safe, sound and wrapped up warm.

Brr...

Hi everyone, well it finally snowed here last night and has hung around all day. It has melted a bit but has now iced over and it's sooo cold. My daughter says that I'm a hermit as I would rather stay in where it's nice and warm. It's true, what's the point in going out and getting cold and wet if you don't need to. Much nicer to stay in and craft.

Four little drawers

Hi everyone , hope you are all well, snuggled up warm and enjoying your evening.

Whilst I've been Xmas shopping, I had planned in my head that I would wrap the pressies as I bought  them, well... that just didn't happen, so I've now got loads to wrap and just don't feel like making a start. Apart from anything else our youngest cat Ely, who's very naughty, pinches anything he can get his teeth round and runs off with it. He also loves to pull off the tags and bows from the wrapped pressies, he's a right little pain but i do love him. I must turn off the laptop and make a start, well... maybe tomorrow LOL!

I've made a little set of four drawers which I am entering into craftycardmakers challenge.
