December Pixie

Hi everyone, hope you are all well and warm. We had snow again early this morning, but none since. It's like the snow when we were kids. You could build a snowman and it would last for days. Fed up with it now though but should'nt moan about it, as some have had it a lot worse.

I used a pixiedust  digi  image that was a freebie at papercraftplanet for tonights card. I enjoyed making this one but ended up covered in glitter.

I'm entering this into fridaysketchers challenge.

Brr...

Hi everyone, well it finally snowed here last night and has hung around all day. It has melted a bit but has now iced over and it's sooo cold. My daughter says that I'm a hermit as I would rather stay in where it's nice and warm. It's true, what's the point in going out and getting cold and wet if you don't need to. Much nicer to stay in and craft.

Four little drawers

Hi everyone , hope you are all well, snuggled up warm and enjoying your evening.

Whilst I've been Xmas shopping, I had planned in my head that I would wrap the pressies as I bought  them, well... that just didn't happen, so I've now got loads to wrap and just don't feel like making a start. Apart from anything else our youngest cat Ely, who's very naughty, pinches anything he can get his teeth round and runs off with it. He also loves to pull off the tags and bows from the wrapped pressies, he's a right little pain but i do love him. I must turn off the laptop and make a start, well... maybe tomorrow LOL!

I've made a little set of four drawers which I am entering into craftycardmakers challenge.

Seasons Greetings

Made another Xmas card today using a cute little girl digi stamp from Mabelle R.O . Feeling a bit festive the last couple of days, bought  most of the pressie's and today we've  been starting to make plans for the Xmas lunches at work.

I've had company in my craft room most of the afternoon, both of the cats have decided to plonk themselves down just where I'm trying to work and then keep running off with stuff I need. Right pair of attention seekers.

May all your dreams come true

Brrr! It has been so cold today.  How nice is it to set the heating to come on, so the house is snuggly warm when you come in.  Even better, a yummy cup of coffee and a couple of choccie biscuits to go with that...  Aah Heaven!

Todays card is  another Tilda, you must be fed up with seeing these. I was a bit lazy and grabbed one that I'd  already stamped .

Fab award

I have been really lucky  to have been given the Attitude blog award again, this time by the lovely  Jackie. Jackie has a wonderful blog which I love visiting and she always leaves me fab comments.   To accept this award I have to say 3 things that make me different. Mmm this is more difficult than you'd think...

1. I love to ride on the Ninky Nonk with  my little grandson ( well it's actually the settee but we pretend we are in the Night Garden and bounce up and down, side to side, our settee springs will end up no good )

2. I love Marmite ( different to some, not all )

3. I would prefer to go craft shopping than, clothes, make up etc. shopping (different to most, but not us lot. LOL)

the second part of this award is to pass it on to 5 other bloggers.

I would like to pass it on to these lovely ladies ...

Thank You Again Jackie xxxx

Best Friends

Well, what a dark and rainy day we've had. I don't mind the cold,  but I hate getting wet. I've been playing around  today taking photos. Thanks Claire for the tips.  This is on a black background using a daylight craft light. I bought one from Hobbycraft on Sunday,  it was on sale at £19.99. I am so impressed with it, the light is brill and it has a magnifying glass built in with the light bulb. Perfect for weary eyes and  teary eyes, just been watching Corrie.   Used another Mabelle R.O digi on this one.

S.W.A.L.K

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. Me and hubby have  been Christmas shopping and  I'm quite pleased as we got most of it done. Got a few things left to get, mainly choccies and wine, but I dare'nt get them yet as I'll end up scoffing them and have to buy them again.

I made this one using a S.W.A.L.K image and I'm going to enter it into Crafters Companion  challenge 6.
I'm not really happy with the lighting, it's either too dark or too light. If anyone has any  hints or tips on how to get good photos I would be very grateful for them.

OMG! I'm chuffed to bits, the wonderful  Vicky has given me an award.

Thank you so much Vicky  xxx

To receive this award you have to say 3 things about yourself that make you special and pass it on to five other people.

The first bit's pretty hard I don't think anyone thinks of themselves like that.

Here goes:

  1. I am special to have been blessed with  an amazing husband , two wonderful children and the apple of my eye, Bradley my darling grandson.
  2. I am special because I really care about  my friends and always try my upmost to be there for them when they need me.
  3. I am special because I have been given a Fab award by the lovely Vicky.

Just love that Tilda

After yesterdays post, I got to thinking about what I did with my spare  time before I started crafting. Been racking my brains and for the life of me I cannot remember. Must have watched loads of rubbish on Telly. I now  only  watch what I really like, I'd rather be crafting or blogging now,so much more enjoyable. Mind you, I probably had more cash before crafting . You all know that feeling, right? lol.
