Driving home for Christmas

Good evening folks, hope you are all ok. My first day back at work today and I feel a bit tired, I'd got used to being a bit lazy over the hols, busy doing nothing. :o)  We did some training today, which I really enjoyed and tomorrow the kitchen is getting a good old blitzing ready for cooking the dinners next week when the kids start back.

As it's the first of the month it's time for the Little Claire club stamp set, 'Delivering Christmas Wishes' and I must say I LOVE IT!

Included in the set are a gorgeous Morris Minor, a proper postbox, some cute little robins and 2 sentiments.

All the deets are Here and whilst your over there have a little peek in the gallery, my lovely teamies have made some gorgeous cards with it.

My lovely blog buddy Kerryn has given me a lovely award. Thank you hun, it really means a lot. :o)

I made top 3 over at Crafters Companion today too, Thank You ladies, I'm really chuffed to bits.

So it's been a lovely day today over here at My Happy Place.

Hope you all have a fab evening, I'm off for a lil' nosey round blogtown and watch Torchwood. :o)

Hi Donna, Gorgeous cards! Love the images ... i'm now getting ready for work but will check out these new stamps later today. I bought some LC stamps at the Thetford craft show on Sunday and they stamp beautifully. Haven't had a chance to make a card with them yet because I have been busy making samples for Crafter's Companion.

Hi Donna

Two fabby Christmas cards .. ... I love the first one .. .. just as much as I love the song of the same title. It makes me think of my Son driving home from London to come and spend Christmas with us all ready for "happy times".

Sounds like work was a shock to the system!! I think it always is when you have had a good break. Hopefully you will soon settle back into the routine.

Have a great weekend and thank you for all the visits you have paid me whilst I was banned from blogland.

Love Jules xx

Two wonderful cards Donna, I love the detail on the first card, and that fab green car - my first car, a Fiat uno was exactly that colour! But I do love the red and black combo for the post box, beautiful and striking, and a fabulous shape.
