My lovely friend and very talented teamie Lisa has set a really fab challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers.
Which is to make a one layer card. My first reaction was.... Help! I don't know what to do... those of you who visit me know I like to chuck loads of fussiness on my cards. But I had a go and although I know it's not great, I am quite pleased with it.
Although this is not my usual card style, I really enjoyed it. I inked the edges with Spun Sugar and Dusty Concord. I then stamped a Kanban image in the left hand corner and over stamped a LOTV sentiment. I just could'nt resist adding a couple of tiny black gems in the top right hand corner. This is something I will definately be trying again.
So Thank You Lisa for setting us a really great challenge. I hope you will all join us and also check out my teamies wonderful creations.
Also, I had a little surprise on Saturday, I came top 3 at A Gem of a Challenge. Thank you Janet, Lisa and the lovely DT, I'm chuffed to bits.

Lovely card Donna, I like it's simplicity and the silhouette flowers are gorgeous. I think I'll have to give this challenge a go.

This is lovely Donna, I just don't do CAS but I see some gorgeous samples and this is one of them. Love the purple and I think the gems finish it off perfectly. Congrats on the top 3. Marianne x

Donna this is one amazing card. I love the colours and that Kanban stamp is fab, I really was surprised when you said it was Kanban as it is really crisp and I didn't think theirs would be all that good.
I am afraid I bottle out of this challenge as I just couldn't get inspired by it. You have done an amazing job with this.
