Crafty Cardmakers Spotlight-Water & Candy Winner

Hi there everyone, first of all I would like to say a BIG Thank You for all your kind comments about my toothache. I am still in agony and the left side of my face is swollen. I did manage to get a dentist but can't see the dentist until February 24th. Although she did give me the number for the emergency dentist so, I will try to get an appointment tomorrow.

We have another spotlight challenge for you over at Crafty Cardmakers. The theme this time, has been chosen by me and it's WATER. So we would like you to use something you add water to or water has been added eg. spritzers, glimmer mists, H2o's, watercolour paints or pencils etc.

I decided to use my Faber Castell watercolour pencils and waterbrush for this one, I haven't used them for ages and really enjoyed colouring the Dimension Fourth owl and house in. I used  Go Kreate dies to make the shaped card and cut out flowers & leaves from pattern paper. I added a LOTV sentiment to finish.

We're very kindly sponsored by The Handy Hippo who are offering a £10 voucher for their online store!

Another Molly Bloom

Hi there everyone, hope you have all had a fab Suturday, I've been blitzing my craft stuff most of the day. Got it all done now and have a tidy craft room, for a short while anyway. I have the worst toothache ever, which eases with painkillers but as soon as I start to eat, it's agony. I must try and get a dentist to get it sorted, I got chucked out of mine as I missed my check up.

Anyhow onto my card, I used the other Molly Bloom stamp that came free with the mag,.

I'm entering this into Papertake Weekly Challenge who have a great sketch.

I used: Basisc Grey papers
Spellbinders nesties
Craftwork Cards sentiment & candy
Promarkers

Hi everyone, hope you are all well & warm on this chilly evening.

I've decided to have a blitz on the craftroom & get rid of all the stuff I don't use. I've piled it up in our bedroom so I can sort through it properly and now I don't know where to start. So, I'm  leaving it while tomorrow and going to spend the rest of the evening catching up with your fab blogs.

I made this one with the freebie Molly Bloom stamps that came with a mag a couple of weeks ago.

Crafty Cardmakers Floral Challenge

We have a new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers today with a lovely theme chosen by Jack.

We would love to see your floral creations and as the Spotlight on pencils challenge is still running, you could combine the two.

For this weeks floral challenge, I used a Joanna Sheen Favourite Flowers collection stamp. It is one of the Garden Flowers set and the image I've used from it, is a Hellebore ( It says it on the packaging otherwise I would not have had a clue what it was). I've kept the card simple, as I didn't want to detract away from the pretty image, which I've coloured with Promarkers. Just added a Martha Stewart punched border, some ribbon, pearls, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and a little Cosmic Shimmer, Aqua Twinkles in the flower centres.

Our sponsor this week is the lovely Joanna Sheen who has a £10 voucher to spend in the online store up for grabs.

Hope you can join us.
