I ended up at the docs this morning, had to have a needle and antibiotics. Long story, will try & make it shorter. My daughter's neighbour moved house a week ago and left two cats, (one of which is old & poorly), yes, just left them outside the house! Grrr!!!
Sam, my daughter has been feeding them and also phoned the RSPCA, who have had trouble catching them. The younger one has moved on as Sam has'nt seen him since Monday. The older one just sits on the window looking in the house, bless her. So we thought we might be able to take her to the RSPCA ourselves as she's been coming to Sam when she feeds her. We managed to get her into the box but she soon realised what was happening and used my wrist as a means of clawing her way out and then ran off. She has come back but the RSPCA are going to put a cage out to try to get her and Sam is going to keep feeding her.
Sooo! I ended up with an infected wrist where she'd dug her claws in.
But if I could get my hands on the woman that left them.................Grrr!!!
Anyhoo! Here's my card I made today.
I used: a Mo Manning image
K & co papers
Spectrum Noirs & Derwent pencils
Whimsy Stamps postage stamp & die
Marriane D dies
Mcgill punch
Flowers & dewdrops from stash
I'm entering it into: Samuel Taylors sketch challenge
KB Cute Monday anything goes, with a digi image

Poor you hun...That women should be locked up..and the wee cats...bless them..and so sorry to hear about your wounds Donna :o(
But on a brighter note...your card is stunning as usual and love the flowers too sweetie..
have a lovely weekend..hugs Vicky xx
Auck Donna, sorry to hear about your wrist and how awful can someone be to abandon their pets!! Grrrrrr. My wee Nimbus uses my hubby as her daily chew toy but would never think of hurting me. He's got major scars on his legs from last summer when he was sat outside in his shorts. Nimbus saw his bare ankles as an invitation to chew on, heehee. Hope you are ok. Your card is beautiful, your wrist certainly hasnt affected your gorgeous card making skills. Lee xx
that woman wants a slap!! hope your wrist is better soon, gorgeous card, love the flowers and gems x
:(
Oh Donna take care of yourself... With infected wrist you made the card? Its just so beautiful...

Sorry to hear about your wrist - especially as you were trying to do a good deed. I agree with you though - I can't stand people who do things like that to their pets!

HI sweetie this is stunning i LOVE these colours, hope your hand heals soon hun nothing worse than cats hugs pops x xx
Donna - poor you - hope the wrist feels better soon. As for the woman who just left her cats -I think that kind of behavious is just terrible. The poor cats must be so confused. I do hope the RSPCA catches the cat soon.
However, having a damaged wrist doesn't seem to have dented your creative flow!! This is a really pretty card. Great colours, lovely layers, sweet flowers and the cutest little girl - great expression on her face!
Aw poor puddy cats, some people can be so cruel, I hope they find nice new homes soon! And I hope your wrist gets better too!
This is a really pretty card Donna, I love the colours and gorgeous flowers :)

Hi!Ooh Donna that must be so sore :( and how bad are they to do that...really hope your wrist is better soon.
Gorgeous card, your colouring is perfect too.
hugs Lou.xx
Ouch, bet that hurt Donna but at least the antibiotics will help it heal quickly. Thats just cruel to dessert 2 cats like that. Dont like kennel/cattery bills when where away, like a mortgage payment when we get back lol but dont have them if you can look after them. Anyway, gorgeous card, shes beautifully coloured as always. Nice to see you can still craft!

Oh what a sad tale, I do feel sorry for those poor little cats. Bad luck for you to get scratched so badly especially as you were only trying to help. On to your card though, it did make me smile, such a cute image & I love those Whimsy stamp sentiments.

I cannot understand that people can do something like this to animals. So terrible. Hope your wrist will heal soon. Your card is so lovely. Such a cute image and your color combo is fabulous.
Hugs, Karina
Gorgeous card! I can't believe that someone would move and leave their pets behind! That's awful!!!! Hope your wrist gets better soon. Love 'n' hugs, Mel xx
YOWCHERS!!! I feel your pain & frustration! Stoopid people!! I hope you are feeling a bit better today and I sure hope you can still be all crafty!! This card is super sweet. Those colors go so well together! And your flowers are delish! Take Care.
ouch!! I bet that was sore.
people who dump animals make me sick!! Something similar happened here, as the cats kept coming back to their old house. I later found out the owners had only moved round the corner and hadn't abandoned them. Why do people have animals if they won't look after them?? grrrrrrr.
Anyway, hope you are now ok and your card is another beauty! xx
I just don't know how people can be so heartless,i too would like to get my hands on her.Can you tell us the latest on them please Donna.Do hope your wrist is better now.Oh yes lol, your card is STUNNING,i love the colours you use.Me thinks me will have to become a follower.xx
Dear Donna,
your variation in design is amazing, the eye for detail in all the colours used is outstanding. You picked an amazing card to case, but the elegance in your card is very evident. The stamping is really the star here in this paper performance and I think I am in love
