Birthday Dino

Good Morning, hope you are all happy and well. I have an easel card to show you made using one of the brand new topper digi kits that our lovely Janet at Pink Gem Designs has created.

There are lots of these kits to choose from over at Pink Gem Designs

They are all gorgeous and so versatile, each one comes with the numbers 1 to 8 . They have been designed to fit on an 8 x 8 card blank. I made this one into an easel card. Isn't he just the cutest lil' dino there is?

It's a boy!

Hello everyone, hope you are all ok and the week has got off to a good start. I'm back at work, I don't mind though as I have a lovely job, it was a bit off a shock getting dressed early, I stayed in my pj's as long as I could over the hols.

I have a card to show you made using a cute LOTV pre-coloured image. Ooh! I do love these, just perfect when you don't have much time but want to make something.

Thanks for all the lovely comments about my welsh dresser. I'd quite like to do another although we don't have anywhere to put one.

My daughter Sam needed an RSVP for a wedding so my make today was just perfect for her, she added a little card inside the box.

Welsh Dresser - Before & After

Good Morning, hope you are all ok and looking forward to a lovely weekend.

I have some pic's of my welsh dresser to show you. I just LOVE it now it's finished, it looks gorgeous with all my bits & bobs on and it has loads of room for storage too.

So here are the before pic's.

Here it is, all finished and in my craftroom.

It was really easy to do too. A light sand ( Hubby did this ), a few coats of matt emulsion and then lots of lovely bees wax.

Crafters Companion - Wild About You

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok and had a lovely Easter. Sick of chocolate yet? No, I'm not either! :-)

I've been busy painting this morning, no not decorating, painting something gorgeous. Whilst me and Wayne were out and about last week, I saw the most gorgeous Welsh dresser in one of those nic-nackery shops. Well that was it I was smitten. So Me, Wayne & our son Kyle spent most of Saturday in second hand shops trying to find one. We managed to get one and it's just perfect, although needed painting and waxing as it was a horrible brown colour. I will post some before & afters when I've finished.

So I'm here in between coats of paint to share a card that I've made using one of the very cute Rachelle Anne Miller stamps from Crafters Companion.

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok and looking forward to a lovely weekend.

Just  a quick post to say a HUGE thank you to all for your very caring and thoughtful comments you left for me & my family.

After a couple of weeks where our lives have been turned upside down, my lovely family, Hubby Wayne, Daughter Sam, Son-in-law Mark, Son Kyle & Grandson Bradley have decided that we are going to spend as much time as we can together and when we can't,  we'll make sure we speak on the phone everyday.

Life is just too short & while we are here we need to make lovely memories that will be with us forever.

I'm hoping to tidy up my very messy craftroom today, I haven't been in there for ages, so hopefully I will have something to share with you very soon.
