Good Evening folks, bit late tonight as I've been babysitting whilst my daughter's doing some training at work. Bradley wasn't a happy chappy though, has a temperature and generally grotty, bless him.

My lovely blog buddy Vicky has created a really fab sketch to play with over at Sketch and Stash.

Here's my card, it's for a certain little fella to give to his mummy on Sunday.

Going to link up and catch up with your lovely blogs before bed.

Good afternoon folks. Another sunny day, hopefully for everyone.

We have a fab challenge for you over at Crafty Cardmakers Spotlight . This fortnights spotlight challenge was chosen by Mandy. We'd love to see your creations using Decoupage.

This one was something different for me. I don't usually do decoupage but I couldn't resist when I saw these Gorjuss decoupage sheets. I adore these cute characters. I've made an easel card using Spellbinders labels, 10 added a Martha Stewart border and Marrianne D scroll. Punched out some tiny Xcut flowers and a few gems to finish.

We are sponsored for this challenge by The Technique Junkie Newsletter

"The Technique Junkie Newsletter was started in 2002 as a resource for Rubber Stamping Techniques. The Newsletter is published every-other month, featuring 15 or more stamping techniques in step-by-step format.

Each technique has a corresponding pictorial onl ine, and a full page of inspirational artwork by the talented Technique Junkie Newsletter Designers. To date, over 600 Techniques have been published, by far the largest and most extensive library of rubber stamping tutorials available.

Our newest CD has over 79 cutting and embossing machine tutorials with over 850 techniques. The prize would be an Emboss or Die CD (Value $17.95). "

Wow doesn't that sound fab!

We would just love for you to join us, so lets see your cards using decoupage.

.........................................................

I have been given a fab award by the very lovely Angie over at Whichcraft Thank You so much Angie. I love it. Angie is a relatively new blogger who has a very lovely blog, if you get the chance pop over and say Hi and check out her gorgeous cards.

I think I'm supposed to choose who I'm going to pass this award onto. But i'm going to be a bit naughty and offer it to all of my lovely followers.

LOTV cuties

Good evening folks. Hope you're keeping well. Another gorgeous day out there, hope it keeps up for the easter hols.

I bought quite a few LOTV stamps at Harrogate on Sunday, hehe! including this one. The  new clear sentiments are just so amazing, I couldn't resist.

I'm entering this into:LOTV Challenge great sketch
Stamp Something something sweet
Wild Orchid Challenge Die cuts & or punching

A couple of you asked about my card yesterday, so I've took another couple of picks to show you how it's done. It's a square card blank folded as though you're making a gatefold. Then you make two circle fasteners out of card with slits cut halfway up, and stick them on the two ends. The mat that the image is on is attatched with two circles folded in half, one half of each stuck to either side of the centre fold then the mat sticks on top of the other two folded halfs. Sorry if I haven't explained it very well.
This was not my idea, although I'm not sure where I've seen it, perhaps whilst late night blog hopping?

I've had the sewing machine out this evening, after seeing loads of lovely cards with stitching on in blogland. Will show the finished card tomorrow.

Off to link up and catch up before I go to bed.

Something Sassy and a couple of fab awards

Hi everyone hope you are all well and had some of the lovely sun we've had here today.

I've been given two more fab awards, I'm really chuffed that my lovely blogging buddies have thought of me.

The first is from Claire, Thank You Claire, I love it.

I need to tell you three things about myself and then pass it on to Five other bloggers.

1. When I was little I wanted to be a librarian when I grew up.
2. Although I love to watch dancing on ice, I can't skate, I can barely stand up on the ice.
3. I love to fly, it's a big part of going abroard for me, I love it.

The five lovely people I want to pass this on to are :

 Lisa

The second one is from my lovely teamie at Crafty Cardmakers Eiglas. I have to think of 8 interesting facts about myself for this one so, I will put my thinking cap on and do this in my next post.

I'm off to link up, then visit with you all.
