Crafty Cardmakers #46 - Embossing

Hi folks, hope your all ok. Can't believe it's Monday again and the middle of May already. Where is the year going?  Just hope we're going to get some more sunshine, it's been a bit dull and chilly here today.

We have another fab challenge for you over at Crafty Cardmakers chosen by my lovely teamie Tracy

We'd like to see some embossing on your project, either heat or dry embossing.



I decided on dry embossing for this challenge using my bigshot and embossing folders. I used a very cute Wee image that I coloured with Promarkers, Derwent pencils and Sansador. The paper is a freebie from a magazine and I chose pearl card to emboss as I love the effect it gives. I used a Magnolia Doohickey border die to edge the blue card before I embossed it. I then added a few flowers, made with an xcut punch and embossed. A craftwork card sentiment, some  ribbon, charm and pearls to finish.

    Donna - this is such a lovely card - I think the fairy is so pretty and you've coloured her beautifully!!

    It's been miserable here too - I do hope the sun comes back soon :)

    Totally adorable Donna...so love these wee images and coloured so beautifully too..and the embossed pearl card looks amazing too hun..

    How gorgeous is this?

    Such a beautiful image that you have coloured perfectly and then stunning papers and embellishments to go alongside.

    All so wonderfully co-ordinated. Love it!!!
