Nordic Christmas

Good morning, hope you are all ok and having a lovely weekend.

I'm not sure where the time is going over the last few days, but it's flying. Been so busy at work & home so me & Hubby took some time out yesterday, we went for a walk around Clumber Park and then had a coffee & cake in the cafe. It was so lovely, the decorations and lights look gorgeous. Then home to watch some Christmas films whilst eating Santa jelly babies. Perfect day!

I have a card to show you that I made with the Nordic Christmas collection from Crafters Companion.

I coloured it in with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens.

The cutest polar bear

Good morning lovelies, hope you are all ok.

It's looking very festive here, we spent yesterday evening putting up the tree and lots of decorations. Up to now the cats haven't been bothered with it all, fingers crossed that keeps up. In recent years our Christmas tree has ended up being a huge cat toy, usually they wait while you leave the room and then run hell for leather & jump straight in the middle of it. It's the jangling baubles that gives them away.

I have my Crafters Companion The Inspires DT card to show you that I made using the most adorable polar bear.

I used : Crafters Inspiration 12 freebie CD printable's
Textures Hessian embossing folder
All the lovely lot above is from Crafters Companion

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, hope you all have a lovely day.

****************

I have a tutorial for you all, to make a very quick and easy Christmas treat bag.

Crafter's Inspiration Issue 12 - Winter Edition freebie dies set

Step 1 - Trim a piece of blue Centura Pearl card to measure 8.5 inch  x 10 in.

Score at 4 inch from either edge of the 10 inch length, turn the card and then score 2 inch from either edge of the 8.5 inch length. You will now have a square section at either side in the centre. Snip into both of the score lines of the square until you reach the score line as shown.

Step 2 - Fold all the score lines and glue the sides to create a box.

Step 3 - From the length of  an A4 piece of Centure Pearl white card, trim a 1 inch piece. Using the cut in border die from the Traditional Wreath die set cut out twice along this piece to create an handle. Trim two pieces of white Centura Pearl measuring 4.5 inch x 3 inch & cut out Mr Snowman on each one. Then attach the handle as shown and adhere both Mr Snowman to the front & back as shown.

Step 4 - Cut out several snowflakes from the freebie die set and affix randomly around the box. Adhere a bow to either side to finish.

Thank you so much for visiting me on the Crafters Companion Mind Blog Hop

Now hop over to Laine Webb for some more Crafty Inspiration & another chance to win a fabulous prize.

Christmas Sparkle

Good morning, how are you all? Hope you are all ok.

As it's Saturday I have been awake since 5am, I'm not sure why I wake up at this time, usually it's Ely, one of our cats getting me up for his breakfast, so maybe I just expect to be woken and get ready for it. Who knows.

So, I've been having a look on my laptop and found a few cards I haven't blogged yet. So here is one of them.

Sheena Douglass Poinsettia stamp & die set
Sara Signature Merry Christmas die
GoKreate dies
