Lil' Miss Poppy

Hi Folks, hope you're all well. I've been in the craftroom for the last couple of days making samples and prepping demo's for Little Claire's, for the GNPE show at Harrogate. Ooh! I'm so excited. :o)

My craftroom now looks like a bomb site as I have had everything out, I start off with good intentions of tidying as I go, but it does'nt last long. So now I have only a foot square on the table to work on and most of the floor is covered in papers and stuff. So as soon as I've done this I'm going to have a tidy up, before I start again.

I'm back at work tomorrow, can't believe 6 weeks has passed by. I have'nt done half of the things I had planned to do, a huge clear out of the cupboards & drawers being one. Mmm! what have I been doing? hehe!

I've made this one to enter into BnW a really lovely sketch, with the addition of your fave shape. Mine is butterfly as I have loads of dies, punches etc. of them.

I used: BnW Lil' Miss Poppy
Back to basics papers
MS punches
Spellbinders & Stampin' Up dies
Spectrum Noirs & Derwent pencils
Ribbon, flowers & gems from stash

I'm also entering it into: Bearly Mine flowers, flowers, flowers

Rightho! I must go and sort out my mess.

Sisters

Hi again, well I managed to get the washing done, tidied up and even got round to making a card. Oh! I have missed my stamps and pens whilst I was away, although had a really fab time with my lovely hubby Wayne. We ended up going to Lincoln for the day where we did The Castle, Cathederal, Bishops Palace and then the ghost walk. Some shopping in between. We then had 3 days in Blackpool with our friends Jo & Paul, where we did loads of pubs! :o) Then yesterday we went to Matlock with our daughter Sam and Bradley, our Grandson. We all had the most lovely day, played on the old fashioned slots, had a yummy chippy dinner and played on the park.

Princess Tilda

Good Afternoon everyone. How are you all? Hope the weather has been kind to you and you've had a good day.

Me & Hubby took our two cats to the vets this morning for their jabs. Saffie took it all in her stride and was'nt at all bothered by the whole thing but Ely cried from the second we put him in the carrier and all way there. When we got in the vets he wailed so much he set this huge dog of too. You can imagine the racket they were making, I felt really sorry for the poor receptionists.  We had to prise him out of the carrrier when we went in to see the vet. Then it was over & done with in two minutes, all that fuss and bother. He is a right old whingy bum.

I made a card to enter into : Totally Tilda who's theme is 'Fit for a Princess'

Rightyoh! I'm off to tidy up my mess, will catch you all tonight, I'm having a long blogging session as we are going away for a few days tommorrow. Although I am soooo looking forward to it I will miss my craftroom & visiting you all.

OUCH!!!

Good afternoon everyone, hope you are all well.

I ended up at the docs this morning, had to have a needle and antibiotics. Long story, will try & make it shorter. My daughter's neighbour moved house a week ago and left two cats, (one of which is old & poorly), yes, just left them outside the house! Grrr!!!

Sam, my daughter has been feeding them and also phoned the RSPCA, who have had trouble catching them. The younger one has moved on as Sam has'nt seen him since Monday. The older one just sits on the window looking in the house, bless her.  So we thought we might be able to take her to the RSPCA ourselves as she's been coming to Sam when she feeds her. We managed to get her into the box but she soon realised what was happening and used my wrist as a means of clawing her way out and then ran off. She has come back but the RSPCA are going to put a cage out to try to get her and Sam is going to keep feeding her.

Sooo! I ended up with an infected wrist where she'd dug her claws in.

But if I could get my hands on the woman that left them.................Grrr!!!

Anyhoo! Here's my card I made today.

Sketch & Stash#67

Good Morning everyone, another sunny day ahead. Hope you are all having some lovely weather too. It certainly makes you feel good. It's great to have a good run of it, reminds me of Summer's when I was a kid. I remember the six week hols being sunny from start to finish and spent most of it outdoors riding my bike. Or ist that just me remembering the good days?

I spent a couple of hours yesterday playing with the Spectrum Noir's and the verdict is, I love 'em. The light colours are so gorgeous and they blend so well. I am having so much fun with them. :o)

I made this one to enter into Sketch and Stash and have only used Spectrum Noir's to colour it, no pencils, very unusual for me but I was interested to see what it would look like. I know it's not perfect and I need more practice but I'm really happy with the result.
